Returns Policy

If for any reason you find that Budget blinds direct has sent a blind other than that described in the order or with an incorrect measurement, please contact Budget Blinds Direct within three working days from time of receipt. You will be required to send an email to orders@budgetblindsdirect.com.au with your order details and photo evidence.

If photo does not accompany your email it will be difficult to rectify the issue and delays may be experienced. If Budget Blinds Direct is found to be at fault we will immediately ship a replacement order to the customer.

If for any reason a blind is worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if it has been dropped or broken then budget blinds direct return policy does not apply.

Unaltered readymade blinds that are returned must be returned in their original condition along with your purchase order. All delivery and insurance costs are to be paid by the customer. If you wish to replace your blind please email in advance and notify our staff via email at orders@budgetblindsdirect.com.au.

Blinds that have been customised and / or altered to your specifications can not be returned. Customers specified sizes for custom and altered blinds are unique to your window requirements and for this reason may not be returned. Please use or how to measure instructions in order to ensure your measurements are correct. If for any reason a customer decides to alter a blind or use another supplier to alter the blind and the blind is damaged or does not function properly as a result then Budget Blinds Direct return policy is voided.

Returns and repairs that are deemed at the time to be the customer's responsibility will be assessed on a case by case basis. Damaged, altered, and / or wrong measurements will be charged on a labour and materials basis. All repairs or alterations must be approved by the customer prior to any work commencing.

Blind descriptions, pictures, and colours contained on our website are to be used as guidelines only. Budget Blinds Direct will not be responsible for colour choices made on the basis of scanned colour samples and / or images of your computer monitor. It is recommended to order a free sample from our samples page before finalising the purchase of your chosen blind.

We recommend that you return the product via courier and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Budget Blinds Direct will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

If you discover that any blinds are damaged please report this to us within five days of delivery. Please do not attempt to install blinds that have been damaged in delivery, as this will void any warranty claim. If Budget Blinds Direct is not notified within five days, we cannot be held responsible for the damaged item or replacement cost. You may contact us to purchase freight insurance if you have any worries regarding your shipping as we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of your order once it has left our warehouse.
